This lovely dish can be your morning porridge or your risotto or your side dish, depending on the time of the day you have it. I cooked it for my morning breakfast, but then made is as a side dish with some grilled vegetables.
50g oat groats (these are not oat flakes or jumbo oats, these are actual oat grains that look a bit like a rice grain)
1 small beetroot, grated
1 cm grated ginger
1.5 tsp of tamari
soak your grains a night before
in the morning, rinse well and poor some fresh water so that it covers oats
